Our Team
Dr. Joshua Scarpino
Co-founder / CEO
Josh is the Founder and CEO of Assessed.Intelligence. He has over 16 years of experience in DOD and 18 years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity, leading security operations for fortune 500 companies, enhancing foundational controls at financial and manufacturing organizations, and has led, scaled, and audited IT and Security programs throughout his career. He has spent much of his career bridging multiple areas across AI, security and IT to include technology implementations, operations, governance risk and compliance, and has defined critical strategies to address ethical challenges within technology. He has completed his Doctorate in Cybersecurity at Marymount with research focusing on ethical technology and has a passion for educating the next generation of professionals by teaching part-time. Currently, he is initiatives include partnering with ForHumanity to develop Frameworks for auditing AI systems and is continuing his research around ethical AI.
Chad Devore
Associate – Compliance Auditor
Chad is a Compliance Auditor with Assessed.Intelligence. He has spent over two decades within DOD and has 5 years of experience specifically working in the IT and Cybersecurity industry. His experience in supporting global DOD operations, Implementation of distributed IT systems, and training through ForHumanity brings a unique perspective to drive identification of risk and development of remediation strategies. His education is from Excelsior University in Cybersecurity and is working on completing his Masters Degree in Cybersecurity.
